Have you found the Peace the world cannot give? Life is too short to let our hearts rest in what is less and passing away. To be at home with God is our only desire, as our life is primarily contemplative, with a focus on silence and solitude, nourished daily with Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, and recreation in common. To invite others to dwell in God and His Church is our spiritual apostolate: door-to-door evangelization, spiritual direction, and living in material simplicity. Founded in 1966 by Fr. Placid Guste, S.M.P., the Society has 5 Solitudes present in three continents: North America, Asia, and Africa.
