Planting New Life: A Morning of Eco-spirituality and Service
In this jubilee year of hope, we gather to nurture hope—and our pollinators! If you are in the greater Philadelphia area, we invite you to join with Sisters of St. Francis, the Canticle House Franciscan Intentional Community, and other young adults to plant native wildflowers and perennials at Canticle House, in Chester, PA. We will begin with prayer, spend time weeding and planting, then share a simple lunch enjoying the beauty of the garden and one another. We celebrate the legacy of Pope Francis by living the vision and values he proclaimed in his 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si': On Care For Our Common Home.
